ACCESSIBILITY - Courtesy Drop Off Zone, Parking, Shuttle, and Parade Viewing


ACCESSIBLE PARKING - please display your official disabled parking sticker or hang tag - to avoid being towed.

  • Monroe Municipal Lot north of Stop N Go (one block north of downtown Square) –  entire area behind Stop N Go and Green County Historical Society Museum – designated as disabled parking all weekend. Accessible porta-potties available here. 

  • Monroe Municipal Lot (east of WI Bank and Trust) - located at corner of 9th Street and 18th Ave.   Row of parking along street on north side - designated disabled parking all weekend.

  • First National Bank Parking Lot (north of downtown Square) SUNDAY ONLY – disabled parking.

  • Wisconsin Bank & Trust Lot (northeast of downtown Square) SUNDAY ONLY – disabled parking.

  • 900 block of 22nd Ave (by East School Park) Sunday only for Parade – disabled parking.

  • 900 block of 24th Ave (by East School Park) Sunday only for Parade – disabled parking.

FREE SHUTTLE

Accessible buses will be in the rotation of buses providing transport from Park and Ride lot at UPG (350 21st Street, Monroe) to the Downtown Municipal Lot (by Grace Lutheran Church).  FREE.  Buses make continuous loops. UPG is located directly west of Lucky Seven Gas Station.
Friday 5 – 10 pm (Runs between UPG and Downtown by Grace Lutheran Church)
Saturday 10 am – 10 pm
(UPG, *Historic Cheesemaking Center, Downtown, Fairgrounds)
Sunday
10 am – 5 pm (UPG, *Historic Cheesemaking Center, Downtown)
* Historic Cheesemaking Center just til 3 pm on Saturday and Sunday.  There is some street parking available in this area. The Center asks that their parking lot be used for their visitors, or shuttle bus riders with challenges to accessibility.

ACCESSIBLE PARADE VIEWING

  • Wisconsin Bank & Trust Lot (just northeast of downtown Square).  Reserved for disabled parade viewing on Sunday - along the 9th Street terrace and sidewalk.

  • First National Bank Parking Lot (north of downtown Square).  Reserved for disabled parade viewing on Sunday - along the 9th Street terrace and sidewalk.

  • Tent canopies for shade will be set up in East School Park - these areas are designated for disabled and senior citizen parade viewing.  Accessible porta potties are available at the park.
